We can definitely recommend a new French restaurant we've discovered. "Clos du Marquis" at the Leckford Hutt near Winchester has superb food, service, and atmosphere. You can read a review if you want to check it out.

It's expensive, but worthwhile for the quality of food and has an excellent wine list. Apparently it has only been open 18 months.

Just listened to an interesting Radio 4 programme on Marin Mersenne who is known for "Mersenne primes". The largest prime number which has been discovered so far is the Mersenne prime 2^30,402,457-1.
